More newborn sweetness

I could honestly photograph newborns all day everyday and never get tired of it! I really love doing this and this little one is one example why. She was just so darn precious and perfect! I met her mommy and daddy during their maternity pics and I knew then that she would be an angel! She has the most perfect little chubby wrinkles and she was so much fun to work with at only 10 days old.

Tutu's and Pearls

This little angel was full of smiles and expressions that I couldn't get enough of! She brought this tutu and I had the pearls, so we had fun playing dress-up! Take a look at her adorable facial expressions! She is so darn cute!

Gorgeous Eyes

This little guy has been coming to me since before he was born (maternity session) and I have had the pleasure of watching him grow and develop. He is so cute and he has these piercing blue eyes that just pull you in! I loved this little hat that he brought and our next session will be his one year pics and I can't believe how time flies!

Newborn Beauty

This little one wanted to stay awake during the session and it took lots of TLC to get her to sleep for some of the poses, but I have to say the ones of her awake are some of my favs! Check out all of this adorable hair and wrinkles! I just couldn't get enough of her!!!

All smiles!

This was the first time I had met this family and I couldn't get enough of their gorgeous smiles! Again...moving toddler constantly on the go, but I managed to get some adorable pics of her! I hope these little ones had a magical Christmas and I can't wait to work with them again!

Cutie Pie

This little girl is a family friend and I wanted to surprise her grandma with her one year pics when I was back home visiting a while back. Unfortunately, the day we had set aside was freezing cold and raining. But, since I don't travel home very often we knew that we had to squeeze them in regardless! She did great and you would never have known how chilly it was! She looked so adorable and I loved the bright colors against the fall leaves. I always recommend bright colors for photos, but not many people will take that advice. Take a look at how adorable these are!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone! Studio S will be making some minor changes in 2011 to pricing and scheduling. If you would like to book a session and lock in current rates, you may do so before 2-1-11. Also, due to the arrival of baby Simpson any day now, Studio S will not be accepting any appointments except newborns at the studio between now and mid-February. Sessions are already filling up in February, so don't wait until the last minute!

More Family Fun

This family is absolutely gorgeous and they were so much fun to work with. Toddlers are always such a challenge, so it's very important to photograph in a fun, adventurous environment and hope that you can capture their natural expressions. We took these by a creek in our neighborhood and there was lots of exploring going on! We had lots of fun and I really enjoyed meeting them!

Sweetness

This blondie is so precious and dainty! I met her when she was a newborn a few months ago and she is just as sweet as she was then! She is such a calm little girl and I loved this last session especially! She had the most adorable little dress on and her eyes are as piercing as ever!

I am still getting caught up on my session postings and probably won't have time to post all of them from this season before baby Simpson arrives, but I will do my best to post a few more postings before then! This little gal looks just like her daddy and I have really enjoyed working with her and her parents since before she was born! She has grown so much and I look forward to the months to come watching her develop! She is such a little doll!!

Holiday Mini Sessions 2010

This year's holiday mini sessions filled up very quickly and kept me very busy as a 7 1/2 month pregnant photographer chasing children in the woods and getting the best shots I could in a short amount of time. Mini sessions are always challenging because they are only 15-20 minutes and thus they limit the amount of time that children have to warm up to me and get the best shots possible! I was very pleased with the way things turned out this year from the weather, to lighting, to background, to all participants for being so patient and willing to try what I asked of them! Thanks so much to everyone who participated and I have enjoyed seeing my photos on your holiday cards this year! These are just a few of the pics from the mini sessions...I tried to pick different pics that expressed each family's personality.

Family Fun

This adorable family came to me for family shots and the weather was not cooperating outside so we were stuck taking indoor photos for their session. I don't normally like taking indoor family shots since I'm a natural light photographer and the lighting is very limited in the afternoons, but we managed to get some adorable shots of them! They are such a beautiful family!

And she's ONE!

I really can't believe this little angel is already one year old! I have known her since she was born and been taking her pics since her newborn pics. The time has really flown by and I just can't even believe how quickly it's gone! Over time, we figured out that she loves to be outdoors for photos and she just has so much personality! I love her little expressions and I look forward to watching her grow over the years! Happy Birthday Kaylee!!

TuTu Cute!

This little one looked so cute in her tutu and matching bow. She loved the boa and gave me lots of smiles once she had that to play with. I love this first pic and this adorable little grin. She is such a cutie!
