Tennessee Babies

I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous baby last week and I had to quickly turn my office into a studio for her session. For those of you who don't know, I am living in a temporary house until my house gets built so I don't have a studio set up. Our rental house is for sale so we have to have it 'show ready' at all times, therefore I cannot have my normal studio set up. Anyhow, I pulled everything out of the boxes one last time before the big move in a couple days for this gorgeous little girl. Her mom was so sweet and patient and she slept the entire time letting me have all kinds of fun! Here are just a few of my favorites! I just got this new hat from a local lady at a Christmas festival in Franklin. It's super cute for pics!!

And of course most of my headbands come from my amazing, talented cousin, Jennifer with Punky Bear Couture. She has an etsy shop if you're interested in adorable headbands in all sizes.

Another Tennessee Baby Boy

This precious newborn boy's mommy lives very close to me and I know her sister through a friend. Her sister referred her to me and I am so thankful that I got to meet her and her adorable little family. They moved into a new home days before he was born and then had the stresses of moving on top of a new life in the mix. They were blessed with this adorable little angel and all other cares were pushed aside! Thanks so much Miss J for letting me capture such a special time and get these amazing photos!

So this first image is probably my all time favorite newborn image ever! I have tried the tie thing in the past, but his hat just topped it off!

Tennessee Seniors

I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous senior to start off my senior segment in Tennessee. This girl is as beautiful as they come! She and I spent some time driving all over one of the historic parks in southern Nashville capturing some amazing shots. Fortunately it was pretty warm in late November for this session and she was able to wear summer and fall clothes. I had SO many images to choose from and I wasn't able to narrow it down to my normal session number. She should seriously go into modeling! Thanks Miss C for such a wonderful session and allowing me to take your senior photos!

Tennessee Families Part 6

These boys and their adorable cousin were so much fun to photograph! I certainly got my workout in by chasing them around the park and playing hide-n-seek. We had a ton of fun and I got some really cute shots of them in the moment! Their momma found out she was expecting baby #3 shortly after our session, so I look forward to meeting the new addition to their family in the spring!

Tennessee Families Part 5

I have been pretty busy since the holiday rush of photos has begun and here is another adorable set of kiddos who I photographed a few weeks ago. These two kiddos were so well behaved and we had a great time at the park with their family session. This was one of my mini sessions, but I was able to capture so much in such a short amount of time! Thanks kiddos for being so amazing for our photo session!

Tennessee Families Part 4

This family is another family who I have recently met in TN and had the opportunity to photograph on a beautiful Saturday morning at a nearby park. This little guy is just an absolute doll and his mommy and daddy are adorable too! I loved working with these three and was able to capture some adorable moments. Thanks so much D family for letting me replace your annual portrait innovation session! These are priceless:)

Trying to catch up...

So I am SOOOO behind on blogging! I am so sorry to all of my followers for my lack of participation in this blog, however I do have good excuse:) Being too busy is usually a good excuse in the photography world and we all know that this is notoriously the busiest season of all in photography. Throw a few travelling sessions in there and some newborns, sick kiddos, Thanksgiving with unexpected travels, building a new house...and you get busy X 100! So, needless to say, I will do my best to catch up on this blog with some of my favorites from the last few weeks...

To start off...I flew to Kansas City a few weeks ago to photograph this beautiful little angel in her newborn sweetness! She is absolutely amazing in every way possible. I spent 2 days photographing her in her home and we had so much fun! Her momma and I are friends so I stayed at their home and just set up a few studio spots in their house. We got TONS of awesome shots and I wish I could share them all, but there are just way too many for that! Here are just a couple....Welcome to the world Miss K!!

I always LOVE getting the newborn grin...we all know what's usually happening when we see a smile this little:)
