Where have I been?

Hi to all of my Studio S followers! I appologize for my slack in posting over the past month and half! This has been a super busy holiday season and I haven't found the time to keep my blog up to date. I want to thank everyone who participated in this year's holiday sessions and I hope you have all enjoyed your photos and sharing them with your loved ones.

Next order of business: I am currently in the third trimester of my pregnancy. I have been depriving myself and family of time over the past few weeks and my doctor has given me instructions to take it easy from this point forward to avoid an early delivery. Having said that, I will no longer be accepting appointments for any sessions except newborn sessions (newborn is considered within the first 2 weeks of life) from now until the middle of February. If you have a package with me, you will have to wait until then to have your next session full-filled or call for availability. Feel free to book your early spring photos anytime and weekend sessions will be extremely limited thus booking up quickly!

Beauty in Maternity

I just love doing maternity pics and this gorgeous gal came to me a couple weeks ago just looking beautiful! Her an her husband are expecting their first and their joy and excitement was so evident throughout the entire session. I wish them all of the luck in the world and I can't wait to meet their precious little baby!

Birthday Boy

This little guy just turned one and I can't even believe it! I took his mommy's maternity pics over a year ago and time has just flown by! He is such a little doll and he really enjoyed his cake smash! We had so much fun!

Family Fun

This time of year is my busiest season...especially for family portrait sessions! I have known this family since February and they are always so much fun to work with! Their little angel is always a pleasure to photograph and never puts up a fight. I just love her! Here are a few of my favs...

Birthday Girl!

I met this little girl when she was just about 3 months old and have enjoyed photographing her beautiful little face ever since. She just turned one and we tried to do a cake smash with her at the end of the session, however, she really wasn't into it. I still have to post these cake smash pics to remember the moment! She is so adorable!

Another Baby!!

I have been in heaven lately because I have had so many newborns to photograph and they are my absolute favorite to work with! How can you go wrong with a precious new baby in your arms and getting to position them in all these fun, cuddly poses is just priceless! I love my job! This little guy is 2 weeks old in these pics and he slept the entire session and let me do everything I wanted to do! I had so much fun working with him and I just adore his mommy! Thanks to you both for being so patient and letting me work with you!

I LOVE BABIES

This little angel was so precious and I couldn't get over the amount of hair that she had! She was so easy and let me have all kinds of fun during our session. She didn't seem to mind any of the position changes or any of the little details that I would try to fix during the shoot. She just relaxed and played model for the entire time! I had so much fun!

Gorgeous Kiddos!

These three are definitely some of the cutest kids I have photographed! They have great personalities and I love taking their pics! Their ages make it quite difficult to get a great group pic, but this one was one of my favs! Just adorable!!

Handsome "Lil guy!

This little one is 9 months old and his parents are good friends of mine in Indiana. We were visiting family in Indiana a few weeks ago and I had to take his pics and some of their family together as well. I hate it that I can't see them more and watch him grow, but every chance I get when I'm visiting in Indiana, I try to see them!

Maternity Beauty

I honestly LOVE taking maternity pics and especially when sibblings are involved and actually enjoy the pics too! This little angel is only 3 years old and she was the most ideal model that I could ask for during this type of session. Her expressions are absolutely priceless and her mother's maternity bump is nothing but perfection! I can't wait to meet her little sister in a few weeks!

Baby Cowboy

I love natural baby photos and this little one brought his cowboy hat, so we broke out the boots and he just couldn't stop smiling! He did such a great job and was so happy the entire session. We had so much fun and I love watching him grow. I can't believe he was just a newborn last time I saw him! Time flies!! (He is almost 6 months here)

And he turns ONE!

I have been photographing this ADORABLE little boy since he was born and he is seriously one of the most handsome little guys ever! He got to test out my new couch/chaise lounge in my studio and looked great on it!

We ventured out in the neighborhood and took some outdoor pics as well...it was still super hot, but he didn't seem to mind! Check out this smile!
