Studio S is Closing its doors...

Dear Studio S Clients and Friends-

I have some surprising and very unexpected news to share with you all. My husband has accepted a position with a company in Nashville, TN and we will be relocating there in a few weeks. Our home is on the market and we will be entertaining showings with realtors and all that goes with showing a house, so I will not be able to do anymore sessions. I truly apologize for the inconvenience and I will dearly miss you all. I have built strong relationships with many of you and I hope that you will keep in touch and send me pictures of your families! Adorable little guy!

This little guy is only one week old and he has a full head of hair!! He was so precious and slept during his entire session. His mommy had lots of ideas and I love using new ideas and props. These were just a few of my favorites. (We couldn't get the little frown off his face no matter what we tried! It was still adorable!)

Tinkerbell Time!

This cutie is having a Tinkerbell themed birthday party for her first birthday and she makes the most precious little fairy!! She didn't like putting on her costume, but you would never know it from these photos! She is so sweet!! Happy Birthday little tink!

Babies babies and more babies

I feel like I have been meeting so many newborns over the last month and half! Maybe it's because that is what I have been limiting my photography to since the birth of my newest child in January. I will be back full force in 2 weeks taking photos again of all ages! But, I can't help but to love the babies I have been meeting and working with! This precious little girl worked hard for her photo shoot and even posed with her big brother for some pics. She got tired towards the end but we managed to get lots of adorable shots of her!

Sweet Baby Girl

This precious little angel was born a couple of weeks ago and she is so adorable! Her crib bedding is the same as what my daughter's was, so I pulled out some extra pillows to match her beautiful quilt. They ended up being my favorites, but I loved all the others as well!

More Baby Boys!

I have had several newborn sessions lately and those are the only ones I am doing while on maternity leave for a few weeks, but lots of them are boys! This little guy has an adorable family and his big sister is just a doll! She was in a few of his pics and she did such a great job! I got this new wagon for a gift recently and it makes for a great prop! I love how she wanted to pull him around!

Precious Baby Boy!

This little angel was born the same day as my son and we predict they will be the best of buds one day. He has a very proud and sweet big brother. We have done a few different sessions to get the ones we wanted with big brother and the family shots, but they all turned out so great! I can't wait to watch him grow! This is my all-time favorite of a sibbling and newborn! Look at this smile!

Our little angel!

Hi everyone! As many of you know I was expecting and our little boy has arrived! Blake Thomas Simpson arrived on 1-11-11 at 11:50am. My delivery went very well and we delivered a healthy baby boy at 8 pounds exactly and 20.5 inches long. His big sister has been wonderful with him so far and she is very curious when he cries. Here are just a few of his photos and there will be many more to come! I expanded my hat collection recently and now have more crocheted hats as well as many more sports hats. I have tried to get the teams that are popular to this area, so if you have any requests let me know and I will get your team before your newborn pics if I don't already have it!

3 Months and Growing

This little beauty met me when she was here for her newborn pics and it seemed like yesterday. Her parents are 2 of the kindest people I have ever met and I am so thankful to have met them! I look forward to watching her grow and develop into a little princess! She is just a doll!

Absolute Sweetness

This little angel was only 10 days old and I went to her house for her newborn pics. The weather was extremely overcast and we had very limited lighting throughout the house, but we managed to get what we needed for her shots. She eventually went to sleep and her doggy and big sister watched as I photogrpahed her in her home. She was absolutely precious and I really enjoyed meeting her family right after the holidays!

I loved this photo in the stocking! It was a little itchy, but we managed to get her to sleep for a few pics and they were precious!

I didn't get a chance to post pics from every session this past holiday season because I had so many, but I tried to post something from the majority of them. Since I am expecting a son any day now, I will be taking a break from posts until he arrives! Stay tuned for pics of the Simpson addition soon!

This family was so charming and met me very early one morning to squeeze in a last minute holiday photo shoot. The kiddos didn't seem to mind what time it was, and we got some great shots of them! Their holiday cards turned out great!

Newborn doll

This little guy came with a full head of hair and it was SO cute! He was so precious and let me do all kinds of fun shots sleeping the entire time! I loved it! I can't wait to watch him grow over the next several months, but for now I want to enjoy these gorgeous sleeping shots of innocence! He got to try out one of my newest college hats that arrived the day of his session! Since then, LSU seems to be the most popular college/hat among my clients!
